I am in the spotlight on the Electric Quilt blog today with a brief bio and some free EQ projects. Click here if you want to take a look.
Last night I visited the library in Arbutus to check out the new quilt show featuring quilts from several guilds in the area. Baltimore Heritage Quilt Guild was well represented with interesting and beautiful quilts from several members, including four of mine. I also enjoyed seeing work from the Baltimore Modern Quilt Guild: I do love those quilts with the "less is more" attitude, even if I cannot restrain myself from adding the "more". The quilts will be there until the end of the month. Here's the link for more info.

I recently finished this little wall hanging. I started it in a Victoria Findlay Wolfe workshop over a year ago. The workshop was about sewing scraps together to make bigger pieces of fabric which could then be used however you wanted.
It was a fun and relaxing technique. I did have trouble being that spontaneous though - I kept spending too much time deciding on the next scrap to add!
